LANE D. HELDFOND

I was born in San Francisco, California. Following my formal education, I moved to England where I studied sculpture at the Camden Arts Centre in London. There, I was fortunate to study with an assistant to Henry Moore and spend time at his studios in Mutch Haddam.
After seven years, I returned to America and learned the methods of bronze casting through "lost wax," as well as studying the fine art of patination.
I am now exploring a new medium - Acrylics. I paint at all times of the day and evening, observing the light changes over a simple coffee cup or flowers in a vase.
I see colors in my dreams.
